ADICOE promotes Women’s Excellence in UAE
The Abu Dhabi International Centre for Organisational Excellence (ADICOE) in its pursuit of excellence in leadership across the region, is sponsoring a special program for women by Dr Catherine Norton, one of Australia's leading business consultants and an international expert in leadership and communication.
The Women’s Excellence Program is aimed at high performing women working in all sectors who are interested in realizing their potential and becoming effective leaders in their personal and professional lives. The 2 day program, aimed at motivating aspiring business women, challenges them to find their passion for leadership.
Professor Hadi El Tigani, CEO of ADICOE, said the special workshop is designed for rising stars and high performing managers. “We aim to serve organizations seeking excellence. We promote performance excellence at personal, interpersonal, managerial and organizational levels.” he said.
“Dr Norton will be working with local women’s groups and other community associations to provide a program of events that strengthens our women’s business and entrepreneurial community here in Abu Dhabi and across the MENA region.”
Professor Hadi said “Participants will find Dr Norton’s seminars valuable and life-changing. She has presented workshops on Women’s Empowerment and Leadership all over the world and visited and worked in the Middle East extensively.”
ADICOE and Dr Norton have teamed up to present a special interactive program that focuses on what women need to do to become a better leader and how to help others.
Dr Catherine Norton coaches and mentors women to realize their potential and become effective leaders in their personal and professional lives. “I am committed to facilitating community building conversations especially among women. These conversations have the power to transform, energize and liberate women. It is very exciting.”
ADICOE has shown a commitment to excellence in leadership over a number of years. They have recently signed a ground breaking MOU with 6 of the world’s leading educational institutions (Oxford, Cambridge, London Business School, a Harvard Professors’ Consortium, Singapore Civil Service College and the National School of Government UK) for them to work for the first time ever to develop programs that will empower leaders from all sectors and cultures across the region.
The Women’s Excellence Program includes a panel discussion titled “Women Talking Business.” Participants include senior professionals from government and private sectors who will openly discuss challenges and life lessons for women in business. The panel will be introduced by Mr Doug Trappett, Australian Ambassador to UAE.
